Are you “Homeless?” Well… That’s semantic.
I met a traveler under Shady Tree a few years back; haven’t seen him since. From him, I learned a basic truth: “Homelessness” is caused by wishing it different. Instead, he was “Homefree,” a condition free of all the hassles people call home.
It is semantic because of the common meanings held for loaded words. True understanding of underlying causes are skewed by bias and desire, two very negative motives. An intellectual spin, a simple redefinition that accommodates new perceptions, like formative experiences, must be created a new, personally.
For instance, the word “selfishness” is crazy-loaded with dodge and personality, unknown motives and worn out tapes repeating outdated childhood lessons from somebody who was probably wrong in the first place! And, don’t even get me started about all the misunderstandings we build around the word “love.”
Point is: we need to live like salesmen hunting a mark. A grifter, even. A long-game strategy for needing what you want, based on true situations born of convicted honesty backed with unwavering commitment.
