Outreach with a WIDE Reach

  • Community Event Blog
  • Strategic Partner Promotion
  • Corporate Local Sponsorship
  • Expanded Resource Base

Community Event Blog

Events sponsored by SCRWD and it’s partners will be regularly posted and updated on our Corporate blogsite, which disseminates to the major socialmedia sites like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Redit and LinkedIn.

Strategic Partner Promotion

Our event Co-Sponsors will enjoy promotion branded with their logo and contact information across all communications, including Event T-Shirts, Posters, Brochures, Packaging and Corporate Identity.

Corporate Local Sponsorship

Event sponsors are primarily small local businesses with an interest in assisting the disenfranchised and unhoused. Major funding from Multinational Corporations and the deep-pockets of Silicon Valley is easier to get than one one would suppose!

Expanded Resource Base

We connect resources with those who need them. By connecting the charitable with those in need, a synergy of caring is created! This is a win for the community, the inhabitants of those communities, the donors and the unhoused themselves.

A Personal Story

I met a woman who was living in a house. She said she had 12 days until eviction so I felt a strong pull, a need if you will, to help her. I introduced myself as a man who had a ‘foundation’. I wanted to give money to her, from donations I obtained so that she would not become like me… Homeless.

When a woman becomes Homeless for whatever reason, she loses herself. Becomes a woman she no longer recognizes or understands. She lives in the shadows, hiding and hungry, lost and alone. Her own children turn their backs out of their own fear of the unknown. And of course…what kid wants their mother-in-law living with them? So the kids fade away. The old friends fade away, even the Rabbi and Priest fade away. Until no one is left.

And I mean NO ONE.

And, so, it begins

I have been Homeless for quite a while. I have attended all of the feeds and always thought… I would like to do this. In the city of Marina, California there is little to no help for Homeless Women. No showers, No daily feed, no place to sleep in a vehicle. I could really make a difference here.

“Since I began working with the team at SCRWD in the task of helping others, my life has become sooooo much better in many ways every day!”
